Information Technology support for Arts students

The Computer and Information Technology Office of the College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Celtic Studies

This office provides support to newly registered and current students in need of training in basic to advanced computer skills. We deliver software training programmes to undergraduate students, postgraduate (research) students of the College, and to students on taught postgraduate courses. 

In liaison with ISS (Information Services and Solutions) we provide on-line software training from Beginner through to Advanced level in a range of software programmes. We provide training in Blackboard to students (staff training is provided by CELT). The Computer and Information Technology Office of the College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Celtic Studies is a European Computer Driving Test (ECDL) testing centre accredited by the Irish Computer Society (ICS) since 2006.
