Course overview

This course combines a traditional physics degree with additional specialist courses in medical physics. Medical physics involves the application of physics and physical methods to problems in medicine. Medical physicists play an essential role in diagnostic imaging, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine and radiological safety. As medical technology advances, medical physicists are involved in almost every clinical discipline in a modern hospital.
